The metal detector uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to detect metals. All metals including iron and non-ferrous have high detection sensitivity. The entry of magnetic force metals into the detection space can have an effect on the distribution of magnetic lines of force within the detection space, which successively affects the magnetic flux in an exceedingly mounted vary. Non-ferromagnetic metals entering the detection area will produce eddy current effects, and will also change the magnetic field distribution in the detection area, causing the metal detector to beep. Next, let's take a look at the overview, debugging, and operation of the metal detector. Here are some answers.

An overview of the metal detector.

There are many types of metal detectors. The earliest application dates back to the Second World War. It was commonly known as the "mine detector" at that time. The difference in physical properties such as the dielectric constant between landmines and the surrounding soil caused the microwave electromagnetic field radiated by the mine detector. Distortion occurs, and the location of the mine is determined by detecting the distortion field signal. Today, this type of equipment plays a role in various fields, such as airport security gates and hand-held metal detector devices. The metal detector used in industry is a precision detection device used to eliminate metal contamination.

Debugging and operation of metal detector.

The sensor circuit has no adjustment half apart from the sensitivity adjustment potentiometer. As long as the attachment is correct, the circuit will work usually. Once the full machine is in an exceedingly static state, that is, once the speaker isn't sounding, the full current is concerning 10mA. Once the sound from the metal detector is detected, the full machine rises to 20mA. A brand new laminated battery will work for twenty to thirty hours.

If the newly welded metal detector does not work normally, first check whether the components and wiring on the circuit board are incorrectly welded, and then measure the battery voltage and power supply circuit to see if they are normal. Do not weld wrongly on the primary, secondary, and end of the oscillating coil in the detection disc. Before using the metal detector, you need to adjust the length of the detection rod. Just loosen the black glue tube, push and pull the rubber tube to a suitable length, and then rotate the rubber inner tube to tighten the cable and make the handle tip upward. Finally, tighten the black glue tube to lock the glue tube sleeve. In this way, when you hold the handle of the metal detector, your thumb is just next to the sensitivity adjustment potentiometer.

When adjusting the sensitivity of the metal detector, keep the detection plate away from metal, including paper with aluminum foil. Then turn the sensitivity fine-tuning potentiometer knob to turn on the power switch, and rotate it to the half position, and then adjust the coarse-tuning potentiometer knob to stop the speaker audio sound. Finally, fine-tune the potentiometer to make the sound of the speaker just stop. At this time, the sensitivity of the metal detector is the highest. When detecting metal with a metal detector, as long as the detection disc is close to any metal, the speaker will emit a sound, and the sound will automatically stop when it is far away to a certain position.
